Until now, a sold puppy left with a sheet of paper: the printed handover pack. Its logbook — its vaccinations, dewormings, weigh-ins since birth — stayed with you, and the buyer started over by hand. When that buyer is a musher, their dog can now arrive in their MushMate with its logbook.

A link you send

On the puppy's row, in the litter, Hand over the logbook (the kennel's owner, on the web as on the phone, in the puppy's menu). The dialog says what goes and what never does; Create the link gives an address, valid for 30 days, for a single handover. You share it — WhatsApp, a text, an email, whatever you already use with that buyer — or you copy it.

The buyer opens the link in their browser. They read the puppy's name, your kennel, and what comes with it, as numbers: "2 vaccinations, 3 dewormings, 1 vet visit, 6 weigh-ins, the photo". If they don't have MushMate, they create their account and kennel on the way, and come back to the link. They then choose the dog's name, its type, its baseline weight — pre-filled from the dam's type and the last weigh-in — and receive it.

What each side sees

The buyer receives, in their kennel, a new dog: its date of birth, microchip, coat, breed, its dam and sire, its vaccinations, dewormings and vet visits, its weigh-ins in kilos on their dates, and its first photo as the portrait.

You, on the puppy's row, then read "Logbook handed over on October 12, 2026 to Lakeside Kennel" — the date, and the name of the kennel that received it. Nothing else: not its outings, not its weight, not its life there.

What never goes: your notes on the puppy, its care entries marked "note", the price, the deposit, the name and contact you had reserved it for, the inquiries received through the litter's public page. Before accepting, the buyer only sees numbers, by the way: not the detail of a single care entry.
