An accompaniment has an end date. When your coach wants to go on, they offer to extend it, by 7 to 366 days. Until now, "See the proposal" opened a website page inside the app, which asked you to sign in again. You now answer in the app, from Experts › My experts.

What you do

Read the proposal. Under your coach, a line says "… proposes a 30-day extension (until …)". "See the proposal" opens a sheet: who proposes, how many days, the new end date, what the coach will keep seeing (your outings, plans and dogs), that the extension creates no payment on your side, and that the coach's access stops when it ends.

Accept. Tick "I agree to extend the accompaniment…", then "Accept the extension". The sheet says it is extended, and what happens to your access coupon: it follows the new date, or a coupon covers the period up to the new end. Behind it, "My experts" shows the new end date.

Decline. "Decline the proposal", no box to tick: nothing changes, the end date stays the same.

What others see, and what they don't

Your coach sees your answer on their desk: the pending proposal disappears, and the accompaniment's end date moves if you accepted.

Only the kennel owner has the proposal line and the sheet. A handler, a vet or a reader sees the accompaniment and its date, with nothing to answer: the database decides, not just the screen.

Your consent is recorded with the version of the text you read, the same as on the website. Accepting on the phone or on the website leaves the same record.

What it doesn't do

Nothing goes through offline. Without a connection, accepting or declining is refused at once, and the sheet says why: a consent is given online, and the server dates it. Nothing is queued for later.

A coach's invitation is still accepted through its link. The coach sends you a link; that link opens in a browser. Opening a link straight into the app is a separate question we have not settled yet.

The coach's desk stays on the website. Their clients, instructions, resources, proposals: a coach works at a computer. The phone serves the musher being coached. This is not "not yet": it is the place we give it.

Three choices we made

The same text. The website and the app say the same thing, sentence by sentence, and a test checks it at every change: if the website's text moves, the phone's must be reread before the version changes.

One date, the same everywhere. The end date shows the same day in "My experts", on the proposal sheet, on the website as on the phone, and on your coach's side, whatever your device's time zone: you don't agree to the 30th on the phone and to the 29th on the website.

If the proposal has already been answered, the sheet says so. Accepted meanwhile on the website, withdrawn by the coach: "This proposal is no longer pending", and the line disappears. The sheet never says "extended" unless the database did it.
