A puppy recorded as "deceased" by mistake stayed that way. So did a puppy marked "departed", and a reservation put on the wrong puppy could only be cleared in the database. On the phone it was worse: a puppy that had left or died looked like a living one, with its name, its sex and its weight. Both surfaces can now say where each puppy stands, and undo what was recorded by mistake.

What you see

On the phone, on each puppy's row, its state in words. "Reserved", "Deceased" (with the day and the cause), "Sold" or "Given" (to whom, for how much, which day), "In the pack" for a puppy you keep, with a link to its record. A living, free puppy says nothing: a puppy without a word is an available puppy.

On the phone, at the top of the litter, enough to recognise it. The dam, the sire (a tap opens their record), the mating, the due date or the whelping, and the age in weeks: "Nursing · 5 puppies · 4 weeks". Two litters from the same breeder no longer look alike.

On the phone, the mother's temperature can be read back (the website has drawn it for a long time). The "Dam temperature" card shows the latest reading, and "View the curve and the 8 readings" opens the curve over time — with both thresholds named, 37.5 °C and 39.5 °C — then the list, newest first. It opens offline, like the entry does.

Undo. In a puppy's "…" menu: "Undo death", "Undo departure", "Remove reservation"; on the website, the same button on the puppy's row. A dialog says what is cleared (the date and cause of death; the day, type and recipient of the departure; the name, contact and deposit of the reservation) and what stays (the weights, the care records, the price). "Leave as is" changes nothing.

And, on the phone, "Reservation" now opens with what is already recorded: fixing a typo in a name no longer means retyping everything.

What others see, and what they don't

A teammate, a vet, a reader see "Reserved" and nothing more: not the buyer's name, not the deposit, not the price. On the phone, only the owner reads them on the puppy's row; on the website the row says "Reserved" to everyone and the owner opens "Price / reserve" to read them. The buyer's contact is never shown in the list. For a puppy that has left, the type, the recipient and the price are readable by everyone who sees the litter: the website already showed them that way.

None of this is public. A litter's public page never shows the reservation or the recipient. But undoing a death or a departure puts the puppy back on sale on that page if the litter is published: a living puppy with no departure is "available" there, with its price.

Who can undo what follows what the database accepts: a death, any member who can enter data (owner, handler, vet); a departure and a reservation, the owner only — they are commercial acts, and the kennel does not hand their correction to everyone.

What it doesn't do

A promotion can't be undone. Promoting a puppy created a dog in the pack; undoing it would delete one, and with it what has already been entered there. That is not a "not yet": it is a gesture we don't offer lightly, and it remains a decision to make.

The detail of a reservation or a departure can only be read online on the phone: those columns are not among the ones the phone keeps. Offline, the screen says the status ("Departed", "Deceased" with its day) and one sentence reminds you: "Reservations, departures and prices: visible online only." Undoing isn't possible offline either — nothing is queued.

The mother's temperature rules haven't changed. The thresholds and the alert are the ones from before; the screen only makes them readable.

Three choices that aren't obvious

The price stays when you undo a departure. The price entered at departure is also the price advertised before any reservation: clearing it would lose an advert. The consequence is worth knowing — a puppy whose departure you undo comes back on the public page with the price you had noted for the sale; fix it in "Reservation" if it should change.

Undoing only undoes what was on screen. Each undo checks that the puppy is still in the state the screen showed. If someone promoted it in the meantime, undoing a death does not bring it back: the screen says so ("This puppy changed in the meantime") and refreshes.

"Reserved" doesn't say who, to the others. Showing a buyer's name to the whole kennel would have been simple; we preferred that only the owner reads it, as the owner is the only one who can correct it.
