Feed at 8 am and 6 pm, clean three times a day, hand the evening round to the seasonal helper: on the website a chore could already have several times and assigned people. On the phone, Manage chores could do neither: one checkbox a day, for everyone. The owner who sets up chores at the kennel in the evening should now be able to do all of it from where they stand.
What you see
In Manage › Organization › Manage chores (owner only), "New chore" and editing a chore have two more sections.
- Times. "Add a time" opens the dial; each time is a row, with "Remove". Times are kept from earliest to latest. In "Today", each one is its own checkbox: ticking 8 am does not touch 6 pm. With no time, the chore is ticked once a day. A one-off chore has none: the section disappears when you choose "One-off".
- Assign to. You tick one or more people among those who can tick a chore: owner, handler, vet, guide. Each row carries the person's name and role.
The chore list says so: "Daily · 08:00, 18:00", then "Assigned to Anna, Bob".
What others see, and what they don't
The person assigned sees "Pour vous" on their chore in "Today"; on the website, their chores move to the top of the "Today's tasks" card. Other people's chores stay in the list: nothing is hidden from anyone. On the website, names show in the Tasks tab for the whole team that can read it.
What this feature never adds: an e-mail address. The phone only writes the identifier of the person assigned and only shows the name each person entered.
What it doesn't do
Assigning is not locking. Any member who can tick a chore can tick it, assigned or not: that is what lets you cover a colleague. It is not "not yet", it is the website's rule, and it does not change.
Assigning notifies nobody. No notification goes to the person assigned; they read it when they open "Today".
Removing a time does not erase the past. Ticks already made stay in the seven-day tracking, on their own row.
It cannot be set offline. Creating or editing a chore needs the network, as before: offline, nothing is saved and the screen says so, with your times and people still on screen. The list itself opens on its last copy.
Other roles do not read this list on the phone yet. They read it on the website; it is an open line in the register, not a choice.
Four choices we made
"Member" rather than the e-mail address. The website names a member with no name by their e-mail. The phone does not have that data: rather than invent a name, it writes "Member" and puts the role under the line so two unnamed members cannot be mistaken for each other.
A person who left the kennel stays assigned, and shows. The website no longer offers them in its form but keeps them, and names them by a piece of their identifier in the list. The phone shows them ticked, under the name "Member", and only removes them if you untick them: we do not silently undo what was set elsewhere.
Times are sorted and de-duplicated. Two 08:00 would make a single checkbox, because the database keeps one tick per chore, per day and per time. The website keeps the order typed; a template made on the website with times out of order will be sorted the first time you save it on the phone.
Every save sends the times and the people in full, like the website. The phone starts from the chore as it was read and sends it back complete: a chore created on the website and edited on the phone keeps its times and its people, including those the screen no longer offers.
