A "max speed" set on the website for a goal: the phone kept it, without ever showing it. It sent it back unchanged at every save so as not to erase it — which was all it knew how to do. Same fate for the quad assist, the reference trail, the snow, the location, the named team. And last season stayed out of reach: on the trail, you could only reread the current one. Both are now on screen.

What you see

In "Add a goal" as in "Edit the goal", the "Equipment and conditions" step or section carries, in the site's order:

"Pre-fill from a team" sits with the dogs: choosing a team names the goal after it and ticks its dogs. Same words, same units, same limits as the website, and a refused entry is explained before anything is sent.

Seasons: as soon as the kennel has two, "3 seasons" appears at the top of the Objective screen. It opens the list, newest first, with "Archived" on the finished ones. A season opens with its period and its goals; a goal opens its plan, week by week, on its last week when the season is over.

What others see, and what they do not

These options are written on the goal: every kennel member reads the plan they shape, and only the owner changes them. The named team shows in every member's goal picker; the location is used to suggest the region's offline map. Past seasons are read by every kennel member, and nothing is written. Nothing is public.

What it does not do

Choices we made against the obvious

One word differs: "Advanced options", where the website writes "Advanced settings". The "Settings" screen no longer exists on the phone; a sentence that names it sends you nowhere. Rig weights are set in Model parameters, and it says so.

A field that makes no sense disappears — and is cleared. Untick "Quad": the assist is no longer shown, and goes out empty, as on the website. Switch to canicross: no more snow quality. But max speed is the exception: hidden for a maintenance goal, it is still sent. Erasing a value because you glanced at another kind, without saying so, would be losing it.

A refusal is only shown after a save attempt. "64" typed in the assist start is not a mistake until the end is typed. Once shown, the refusal follows your input.

"Archived" means the hitching period is over, not the season. The phone does not receive the website's season end date; a season reads as archived there a few weeks before the website files it that way.

Newest first. The website lists oldest first; on a phone, you look for "last season".

No today's form on a past plan. The team's form today, this week's adherence and a "stale" plan say nothing about a finished season: they are absent.

Choosing a team replaces your selection of dogs, as on the website — but does not put a pregnant or nursing female in it. She can still be ticked; the screen says she was left out.
